ENQUIREThe Scodix Ultra 6500 SHD is a high-productivity digital embellishment press designed to add premium, tactile and visual effects to commercial print, packaging, publishing and specialty applications. Combining Scodix SHD™ (Smart High Definition) with MLE™ (Multi-Layer Enhancement), it delivers precise, detailed embellishment across a wide range of substrates, including coated and uncoated papers, laminated media and speciality materials.
With B1-format capability and production speeds of up to 1,310 sheets per hour, the Ultra 6500 SHD provides the flexibility to move digital embellishment into mainstream production. Its extensive range of applications allows printers to create everything from fine-detail foiling and textures to 3D effects, variable embellishment and tactile finishes, all from a single digital platform.
High-Definition Digital Embellishment
Scodix SHD™ technology provides precise polymer placement for sharp borders, fine lines, intricate patterns and small text, while supporting large areas of flat foiling. This makes the Ultra 6500 SHD particularly suited to premium packaging, luxury print and applications where detail and registration are critical.
Scodix MLE™ enables multiple layers of polymer to be applied within a single production process, creating dimensional textures and tactile effects while also opening up efficient embellishment of uncoated substrates.

Built for B1 Production
With a maximum sheet size of 1,060 × 760 mm and productivity of up to 1,310 sheets per hour, the Ultra 6500 SHD is designed to integrate into high-volume digital and offset production environments.
Scodix RSP™ technology uses a four-CCD camera system and automatic positioning to achieve image-to-image registration of up to ±100 microns, reducing operator intervention and helping maintain consistent results across production runs.
The system handles substrates from 135 to 675 gsm and up to 2 mm thick, with support for coated and uncoated paper, laminated materials, PVC, transparent and reflective media, corrugated substrates and selected speciality materials.
