Scodix SHD™ technology precisely controls polymer placement and drop size, producing sharp borders, fine lines, detailed patterns and small text alongside high-quality large-area effects. Scodix MLE™ enables multiple layers of polymer to be built in a single production cycle, creating dimensional and tactile effects while extending digital embellishment onto uncoated media.

Productive B2 Format
The Ultra 2500 SHD handles sheets up to 800 × 600 mm, providing a practical B2 production format for a wide range of commercial and specialty applications. Productivity of up to 1,430 sheets per hour supports commercially viable embellishment across both short and longer production runs.
Scodix RSP™ technology uses a four-CCD camera system to automatically position embellishment against the printed image, achieving image-to-image registration of up to ±100 microns without operator intervention. Automatic polymer switching further reduces setup requirements when moving between jobs and applications.
Designed for Substrate Flexibility
The Ultra 2500 SHD supports coated and uncoated paper, digitally and offset-printed sheets, plastics, laminated media, corrugated, transparent and reflective substrates, subject to Scodix's recommended substrate list.
With media weights from 135 to 675 gsm and thicknesses up to 0.7 mm, the press provides the flexibility required for a broad range of commercial and specialty print applications.
