UN-Rated Overpack Spill Response Kit for Secure Cleanup and Transport

This robust spill response kit is designed to handle everyday liquid spills while meeting strict regulatory requirements for cleanup and transport. Housed in a lightweight yet durable polypropylene overpack drum, the spill kit achieves a UN rating for transporting spill cleanup waste and complies with Spill Plan regulations to help avoid fines and ensure readiness. The X-rated overpack drum is approved for Packing Groups I, II and III, allowing safe transport of spill waste by land, sea or rail after response and cleanup. Neatly pre-packed contents provide fast access during a spill response emergency, with PIG® Blue Socks helping to contain and stop the spread of spills, while PIG® Mats and Pillows absorb liquids quickly for effective response. Temporary disposal bags are included to simplify spill cleanup and waste handling.

The chemical-resistant container keeps contents clean and dry and features bold “Spill Kit” lettering for quick identification. Moulded ledges allow easy forklift handling, while a foot hold in the drum base and dual broom-handle lid openings positioned 180 degrees apart provide leverage for safe, controlled opening and closing. Tamper-proof seals can be applied to keep spill response contents secure, and the enhanced lid and base design add strength for stacking or accidental drops.
