UN-Rated Chemical Spill Response Kit for Hazardous Cleanup and Transport

This heavy-duty spill response kit is engineered to manage chemical spills safely while meeting UN requirements for shipping spill cleanup waste. The rugged overpack drum is UN rated and X-rated for Packing Groups I, II and III, allowing compliant transport of spill waste by land, sea or rail after cleanup. A lightweight, 100% polyethylene container resists harsh chemicals and keeps spill kit contents clean and dry, while lift-out, prepacked baskets provide fast access and protect absorbents from UV exposure during use.

Designed for high-performance spill response, the kit includes PIG® HazMat Socks to contain and stop the spread of spills, along with PIG® HazMat Pads and Pillows that absorb liquids quickly and effectively. PIG® HazMat Absorbents are specially treated to deliver unsurpassed performance against highly concentrated corrosives, including 98% sulfuric acid and 30% sodium hydroxide. The leakproof, twist-on lid features notches for easy opening or tightening with a 2x4 or pole, and bold “Spill Kit” lettering ensures quick identification in emergencies. Moulded forklift ledges improve handling, while tamper-proof seals help prevent pilfering of spill response supplies. For outdoor storage, a PIG® Overpack Protection Cover (sold separately) is recommended to protect the container from UV degradation.
