Wohlenberg: Trim-Tec 60i
The High Speed Trimmer
ENQUIREDynamic and economical are just two of the words to describe the outstanding features that characterise Wohlenberg’s high speed trim-tec 60i three-knife trimmer. The inclusion of a new no-clutch drive concept with highly dynamic servo assist, in combination with the reliable and robust, cast-in-one-piece machine frame, provides the user with the smoothest of operations and, at the same time, maximum machine output. In operation, books are transported carefully (without jerking) through the stations via a book transport system that requires no conveyors. Even minimum measure deviations can be steplessly adjusted during on-going production. A cam-shaped swinging shear cut optimises the trimming quality and minimises the cracking of printing ink at the cutting surface. The machine is able to accelerate within a second from 0 to 60 cycles without leaving any marks on the products.
