Friedheim is proud to announce new representation of GUK specialist folding machines. Friedheim now supplies capital machinery, spare parts, support and service inside mainland UK (UK excluding Ireland and Northern Ireland)
GUK folding machines are complex, next generation, high-capacity folding machines developed and produced in-house at the 6,000 sqm head office complex in Wellendingen, Germany. From 14 construction lines, more than 100 variations of machine are available. These machines are successfully used in every place where paper is used in manufacturing, such as the printing industry, pharmaceutical industry, packaging industry, bookbindings, lettershops, administrations, and banking sectors.
Founded in January 1948 by Anton Kunzmann and Karl Griesser, GUK prioritized quality, innovation, and customer-centricity from the beginning. With the foresight to overcome challenges, the company grew from a small manufacturing shed to a global entity specializing in folding machines and turning parts technology. In 1997, after Kunzmann’s passing, his children, Ilse Reger and her brother, assumed leadership. In 2010, Friedrich Fauhaber became Managing Director, continuing the family legacy. With over 200 employees, GUK’s future-oriented approach emphasizes quality, innovation, and customer proximity.
Things have been developing; consistent growth from GUK has helped realise potential in new technologies and markets – with these new opportunities on the horizon, Friedheim is excited to add GUK to our portfolio of best-in-class machines.
