Friedheim International Ltd is proud to announce the official launch of our international expansion. Bolstered by new distribution agreements across Europe and Oceania, this strategic move marks our first official venture beyond the UK and Ireland – alongside the launch of a new e‑commerce platform delivering futureproof procurement and purchasing experience across borders.
Opening a physical office in Brussels, Belgium; this is a landmark event for the company and a significant milestone representing years of hard work and dedication, and tenacity in the face of obstacles – showing both suppliers and customers the capability of a devoted team.
Historically focused on the UK with occasional extra-territorial distribution— we now have dedicated partnerships to serve markets in both Europe and beyond. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s evolution from a UK based distributor to a truly international distributor of state-of-the-art technology. ‘With less restriction on growth from previous long term agreements, we can respond to the enquiries we previously had to turn away – a case of one door closing, and others opening. We’re finally able to appease our customers that have multinational operations’ says Managing Director Darren Crane.
Leading this initiative, we’re proud to formally announce the new distribution agreement with Young Shin, a renowned manufacturer of automatic and semi‑automatic die‑cutting machines, known for robust build quality and exceptional lifetime cost efficiencies. Young Shin machines will now be available across territories in Europe and beyond exclusively via Friedheim International, backed by full technical support – mirroring the exceptional levels of service UK customers have come to expect. With the first install due to take place later in 2025, this expansion has been a coming together of Friedheim’s growth, and a response to customer demand. Further international agreements include AGFA, Cavec and others that shall await announcement.
The initial rollout of Young Shin representation will be spearheaded by Robert Jess, a well reputed sales manager in the converting sector with deep market knowledge and technical expertise, Robert will lead sales for Young Shin across the newly added territories, while training and service support will be delivered by a team working closely with the customers. Robert Adds: ‘Technicians are being mobilised to ensure support is flexible and responsive – this is an exciting time and the agreement with Young Shin provides the ideal commercial situation for our customers’
While for now Friedheim will celebrate lots of welcome news ahead of the Christmas break, we can expect even more from 2026…
