The British Printing Industries Federation is providing a new service to members which we think could be useful to all (or at least very useful for some!). With Climate Change a hot topic once more, printers, their suppliers and most importantly their customers, are going to be asked more and more about their carbon footprint as a business and that of their products. Carbon savvy consumers and buyers are already expecting answers to these questions, and here’s a way you can provide it…

Widely recognised across Europe, the CarbonCalc is Developed with Intergraf and verified by external assessors. This service allows you to get ahead of the carbon curve and optimise your products and/or product lines before a wider comparison is available.

‘ClimateCalc enables you to measure your total carbon footprint or the carbon footprint of a specific job. It’s more accurate than other more generic tools as it uses data on paper, inks and plates from across Europe’
