The AGFA Onset Panthera represents a significant advance in large-format flatbed printing, pairing industrial-grade engineering with advanced LED-UV technology to meet the needs of high-volume production in signage, display graphics and packaging. With a full-width carriage and true flatbed architecture, the Panthera achieves banding-free prints by eliminating bidirectional pass artefacts. Its LED-UV curing delivers fast, high-gloss or satin finishes, a wide colour gamut (including difficult hues like Pantone 485), and substantial energy savings compared to older bulb-based systems.
The printer handles media up to 3,220 mm × 1,600 mm, accepts both rigid and flexible substrates (including thin foils to thick boards up to 48 mm manual thickness), and supports optional automation with loaders, unloaders and robots — making it ideal for turn-key production workflows. Integrated with AGFA’s Asanti workflow software, the Panthera can be smoothly embedded into existing MIS/RIP ecosystems.
