With four already installed and in production, and another two on order to be delivered imminently, REAL Digital is already benefitting from choosing the new Palamides Sima 220 Automatic Tray Filler!

Says Barry Stephens, Production Director at REAL Digital in Croydon: “On learning about Palamides’ new Sima 220 I visited the German Security Printer fiducia to assess the equipment’s potential and I was immediately convinced that I had found the right solution to enhance REAL Digital’s production capabilities.

“What was particularly impressive was that one operator was easily able to run the enclosing line, including delivery, at a speed above 15,000 pieces per hour,” continued Mr Stephens.  “The whole machine concept was sound and provided the operator with a structured and straightforward working method.  And as a result of this impressive demonstration it was obvious that REAL Digital needed to invest in these new Automatic Tray Fillers, and two Sima 220’s were ordered to fulfill our immediate requirements!”

After the first two machines were installed in line to W+D BB700´s, REAL Digital confirmed that they would proceed with equipping their complete fleet of BB600 & 700 enclosing lines with four more Sima 220 Automatic Tray Fillers, the final installation of which is at the end of February 2015.  

In addition to the six units purchased by REAL Digital in the UK, Palamides has also installed 11 Sima 220’s in the US and Germany.
