Lasercomb is internationally known as an innovative provider of system solutions, specialising in die-making equipment including laser cutters, auto rule benders, counter matrix and sample making tables.
Lasercomb has developed an entirely new generation of digital cutters to produce of samples and small series for the digital packaging and signage industries. Distributed in the UK by Friedheim International, who also offer full after sales and service support.
The new system is integrated into the customers network, providing a comfortable user interface and allows remote support. As a multifunctional system, the CMS enables customers to work with all kind of solid and corrugated carton. Lasercomb will provide all necessary tangential and oscillating tools, in addition, a broad range of further materials can be cut, creased and milled. There is also a camera system that allows the user, to register print marks that can be further processed by the powerful digital finishing software OptiScout. The Operating software (controller) includes the material database which contains the materials in variety of thickness, cutting and tool parameters for use with many applications.
The New CMS range comes in the following configurations; CMS 1613 working area of 1600 x 1300 mm, CMS 2113 working area of 2100 x 1300mm, CMS 2517 working area of 2500 x 1700mm, CMS 3117 working area of 3100 x 1700mm, CMS 3125 working area of 3100 x 2500mm
Security system – light barriers by a bumper system which reacts to mechanical disturbances
Finishing software for a precise contour cut with or without camera controlled orientation
Automatic tool changer with cleaning unit for up to 5 tools
Camera system – modular optical recognition software system for multifunctional flatbed machines for industrial use
The latest state of the art technology and precision components are included in the MTL-SLAB laser system, enabling it to combine maximum user friendliness with excellent cost effectiveness. All processing parameters are PC controlled, and this assists in keeping maintenance costs and downtime to a minimum. The included materials database can be easily customised, and the MTL-SLAB offers excellent acceleration and deceleration in production mode. The three models in the range provide size handling from 1500 mm up to 3000 mm, with an attainable maximum speed of 30 m/min depending on the model and material being used.
With the CLS-SLAB laser cutting machine, Lasercomb has produced an innovative design that eliminates the need for movement of the laser source, and instead incorporates the use of a moving table format to guarantee maximum precision, consistency and dynamic performance. The three models in the CLS-SLAB series are all highly productive packages, offering formats from 1700 x 1250 mm up to 2500 x 1500 mm, with all settings controlled via a PC based system. Maximum cutting speed is 15,000 mm/min.
Conceived for rotary and flatbed dies the Lasercomb PTSn is a laser cutting machine unusual in view of its large scale construction and straightness in design. Boasting a flatbed working area that ranges from 3000 x 1500 mm to 4000 x 2000 mm (depending on the model), and a maximum speed of 20,000 mm/min across the range, the PTSn offers high consistency and precision, as well as the highest reliability. Production capability can be further enhanced by the addition of options such as the QuickMount external rotary preparation system and Advanced Crash Protection (ACP).
This water jet cutting system features a completely new type of technology that enables a significant increase in rubbering quality during the production of die-ejection material. This in turn provides a noticeable increase in productivity during die-cutting. All operations on the ProAquaJet 1613 are fully automatic and controlled via a colour touch screen, which also provides diagnostic details and a tool database. A manual mode of operation is also available if required. The machine can handle a format size of 1600 x 1300 mm, and has a maximum speed of up to 100 m/min.
For comprehensive flexibility and convenience at even the highest speeds, and at an affordable price, Lasercomb has designed the ProMill multi-functional milling machine. Available in two variations with formats of 1600 x 1300 mm and 2100 x 1300 mm, this machine incorporates high tech components to meet the highest demands of the die-making industry. A high power suction system, digitally controlled z-axis and programmable 3D z-axis are among a host of included features on the ProMill
As part of the Lasercomb equipment programme, ProRuleCut is a rule processing system for the fully automatic cutting, notching and perforating of creasing and cutting rules. The whole system comprises a number of component parts within the single machine, and these include a Punching Unit, Decoiler, Trimmer, Loading system and Depositing system, as well as control via BUS technology and numerous tools to provide maximum production flexibility.
Lasercomb developed the ProPertinax milling machine not only to cater for the high demands of the die-making industry, but also to provide carton manufacturers with the opportunity of producing high quality counters cost-effectively. Capable of handling a format size of 1070 x 1070 mm, the ProPertinax also offers users a choice of production between a full layout of counters or single pieces for replacement.
The ProCount 1712 is a high speed routing machine designed specifically for handling the highest production demands, and this is achieved due to its robust construction and great reliability. Its use of up to 24 tools ensures the maximum level of flexibility in production, assisted by its ability to handle Pertinax, Vetronit or steel counter plates. The ProCount 1712 provides a routing area of 1700 x 1200 mm, along with a maximum speed of up to 40 m/min.
