NEW LOOK MBO T535 Perfection – Buckle folder

A move to 24-hour working and the resultant increase in throughput has led to the Lexon Group purchasing a MBO T535.1 Perfection buckle folding machine and A56 mobile stream delivery system from UK & Ireland agent, Friedheim International.

Says Garth Davis, managing director of the Lexon Group: “We already have an existing MBO folder which has proved itself very reliable, so it made commercial sense to think about purchasing a second one when the need became apparent.  We did check the market first to see what else might be available, but came back to the MBO even though it was the more expensive option!”

Formed in 1970, the Lexon Group is based at Crumlin, near Newport in Gwent.  The company employs 67 staff and specialises in producing highly finished technical and ‘niche’ products through its in-house printing and finishing facilities.  These products include pop-up mailers and other types of presentation merchandise, as well as paper and board laminating.

The new MBO T535 folding machine has worked well since its installation according to Garth Davis, who says: “It is proving just as reliable as our existing MBO, and that is what we had hoped for.  One of the other reasons we stayed with MBO is due to the support we have always received from Friedheim International.  When one’s company is working 24 hours a day, it is reassuring to know that if a problem does occur, they are there to help out!”
