Although the majority of Hunkeler’s products combine with other equipment to create complete process or production lines, one of its stand-alone items is the VEA 520 automatic sheet end gluer.  This is a general-purpose machine designed for the inside and outside gluing of cut sheets into another sheet-fed material, and is particularly suited to specific gluing applications in the production of greetings cards, photograph mounts, postcards and numerous types of direct mailings.  In operation the VEA 520 is quick and easy to set up from one job to another, and requires very little maintenance.  Besides being safe to use and accurate in its gluing operation, the machine also offers both cold gluing and hot-melt gluing and, depending on the type of materials being used, can produce up to 8,400 products per hour.
