Quickbinder
The Quickbinder is not only intended for expanding smaller-sized companies intending to make the jump to quality book binding applications, but also for large, industrial-scale book binding companies using the machine for the production of superior, high-quality samples and small editions.
In spite of its compact overall size comprising a length of 4.1 m and width of 1.8 m, the Quickbinder combines all the performance features of a large perfect binder. In addition to processing the usual gluing techniques (hot melt, cold glue, PUR), the Quickbinder can also produce brochures with gauzing in one working process. With a wide format range from A6 to A3 (A4 landscape) and a maximum product thickness of 70 mm, the Quickbinder can be used for nearly all required product tasks.

City 4000
With the City 4000 perfect binder Wohlenberg offers the printing and finishing industry a flexible and modular solution for brochure production. Due to the flexibility of the system, a range of configuration solutions for every quality requirement and budget can be found.
The City 400 is the core element of a system that can grow along with the expansion of a user’s business. The perfect binder is equipped with interfaces to enable future extension to a complete perfect binding line with gathering machine, conveyor systems and three-knife trimmer. The City 4000 is the ideal perfect binder for the medium speed range. Clearly arranged and easily accessible control elements, as well as logical adjustments, all aid a rapid set-up process. Shaftless drives between the gathering machines and perfect binders are installed as standard, and a compact construction allows placement in the most confined of spaces. Cold glue, hotmelt and PUR techniques enable the user to fulfil most market requirements. Set-up times are extremely short and facilitate economical processing of even the shortest of runs.

City e
One of the outstanding features of the Wohlenberg City e perfect binder is the intelligent combination of motorised and manual adjustment. All important main functions are adjustable and motor-controlled via the Navigator SE. Based on a new platform concept the City e is available in three different speed and specification versions: 4000, 5000 and 6000. This makes the City e a highly flexible automatic perfect binder with an outstanding cost/performance ratio. With the addition of the optional and highly regarded VSS fore-edge trimming device VSS, this enables users to economically produce high-quality gatefolded products on the City e. The fully motorised setting of all important VSS functions via the Navigator control assists in producing the shortest set-up times. In combination with the KRF cover folder feeder the VSS fore-edge trimming device offers the optimal production solution.

Master e
Versatile, motorised and efficient, with the adjustable Master e Wohlenberg offers bookbinders a multi-purpose perfect binder suitable for all types of applications. Standard brochures, as well as special products, e.g. Swiss brochures, Otabind and gate-folded products, can all be economically processed. The great versatility of the Master e is based on a modular machine concept that allows a quick adaption of the perfect binder to the user’s individual, and sometimes quite varied, demands. Later integration of optional equipment is possible at any time, and this allows the Master e to be adapted easily, dynamically and cost-efficiently to a customer’s changing production processes.
Three versions of Wohlenberg’s Master e perfect binder are available:

The Wohlenberg Champion s is a high performance perfect binder for hot-melt, cold glue and PUR applications. By using the VSS fore-edge trimming device products with multi-page covers and shorter bodies can be produced in-line in one pass at high speed. All format settings are fully motorised via the perfect binder’s Navigator system – and no separate set-up process is required. Since the fore-edge is trimmed in the clamp during the actual perfect binding process high cutting precision and product accuracy is guaranteed.

All essential format adjustments are motorised via the Navigator system.
