There is a guillotine and cutting solution for everyone in the Schneider Senator range, from the small format and compact E-line 78 and 92, through to the mid-range S-line versions encompassing the 115H, 137H and 155H, and finally on to the larger size format of the E-line 185 and 260.  All are proven for their build quality, safety and cutting accuracy.

Schneider guillotines are programmable and available in ‘C’, ‘CP’ and ‘CT’ versions (depending on specification).  All models incorporate computer control with TFT colour monitor and an infra-red safety curtain for added protection, with the E-line range featuring a mechanical knife drive and hydraulic clamp, while the S-line range features fully hydraulic drive.

As part of a paper handling system, Schneider Senator offers its Profi-line range of joggers, which can be supplied either with or without a pneumatically driven air removal roller.  Owing to the inclusion of height-adjustable floor plates to provide stable stands, all Schneider joggers can be free standing – there is no need to bolt the unit to the floor!  The processing direction of the paper can be from the left or right, or optionally to the rear, and the tilting angle and jogging intensity are both adjustable.  All operations are push button and foot pedal controlled, and also adjustable is the air removal speed and air pressure.

With Profi-line pile hoists Schneider Senator not only makes stock handling easier than ever before, but also saves time and effort by offering you several ways to position your stock.  The pile hoists are available with forks, platforms, with or without lateral air blast and, upon request, can be fitted with pre-piling devices for ensuring true and even stock edges.  The ergonomically designed control panel can be mounted on either the left or right side, and permits all lifting and lowering manoeuvres to be automatically controlled.  It furthermore ensures precise positioning of the stock at the proper height.

Another component of the paper handling system is the re-stacker.  Schneider Senator’s Profi-line range offers a wide variety of different specifications, but all have the following standard features:

For added safety, all electronic program controls on Schneider Senator Profi-line re-stackers are equipped with a feedback system.  Light beams and contact strips restrict the operating range of the transport table and prevent damage or jamming of the stack.  The operator side of the unit is also protected against unauthorised entry.

An highly beneficial optional extra on Schneider Senator guillotines with a cutting width of 115 cm or more is the TrimmMaster, a system that aids the quick and easy, as well as safe, removal of waste material.  It is suitable for all paper sizes, including even the widest shavings, and its automatic operation can be incorporated into the main control panel of the guillotine.  It can provide a significant increase in performance of the guillotine on its own, or as part of a complete paper handling system.

Seen for the first time at DRUPA 2008 was the “Roboload“. This newly designed system for automatic jogger feeding attracted huge interest and received a positive feedback from visitors for its technical innovation.

With Roboload, the robot, equipped with an ad hoc designed gripper, automatically transfers a ream of paper of adjusted height from the pallet to the table of the jogger. The measuring of the sheet size and pallet layer is effected automatically. This efficient and fail-safe solution offers great flexibility and is almost maintenance-free. This system is applicable for many paper and cardboard sizes and only requires a few metres of space. The feeding can be effected on two joggers at the same time or even manually for a single working step.
