The BASA 3 takes Route 1 Print’s cutting automation to the next level

Route 1 Print have automated almost half of their cutting production by installing a BaumannWohlenberg BASA 3 automatic jogging and handling system. Purchased from Friedheim international, the £320,000 investment connects 3 high speed cutters together to completely automate the cutting process.

Deanprint invests in the UKs first MBO K80

Cheshire based printer and book binder Deanprint have installed England’s first MBO K80 full automatic combination folder. Supplied by Friedheim in the UK and Ireland the K80 was launched in 2017 and is the most versatile and advanced folder in the MBO arsenal. The K80 joins the four new Baumann Wohlenberg guillotines, Quickbinder and Trim-tec three knife trimmer from Wohlenberg completing a six-year upgrade programme.

TPC keeps it in-house with a new Komfi Delta 52

Berkhamsted based commercial printer The Print Centre have brought lamination in-house by purchasing and installing a new Komfi Delta 52 industrial thermal laminator from Friedheim International.

Deltor enhances bindery with MBO K8 install

The family run Cornwall based print and design company bought an MBO K8 fully automatic folder for approximately £200,000 from Friedheim International. It was installed at the beginning of November to enhance their Wohlenberg binder and will sit next to their brace of MBO B30 buckle folders. The £3M turnover print house also purchased a new Sagitta 76 late last year, replacing a 9-year-old Tauler to reduce their make-ready times from 40 minutes to just 5 between SRA3 and B1 sheets.

Harcourt Print enhances It's finishing with a new MBO B26

Signed for at IPEX 2017

The Welsh commercial printer invested around £70,000 for the new semi-automatic buckle folder purchased from Friedheim International and will be installed in their Swansea premises.
