Managing director Tim O’Shea says: “We had a requirement to significantly increase our folding capacity, and after looking at the options that were available we chose what we regarded as the best for us – the MBO K70 Combi folder along with the vertical stacker.
“One of the reasons we chose the K70 was due to the fact that we have operators that are experienced on MBO Folders and therefore the transition to the new equipment was very smooth.”
Based in Stockport, Cheshire, Chapel Press Ltd has been in business for 33 years and is one of the leading printing production centres in the north-west of England. Among the print and marketing services offered by the company are design and artwork, full colour printing (lithographic, digital, as well as large format), finishing, exhibition graphics and promotional business gifts.
Chapel Press Ltd currently employs 31 people, and attributes much of its success and continuing growth to an excellent team spirit, which is reflected in the quality of the work the company produces for a wide customer base that includes large multi-national companies, creative agencies and a host of local businesses.
Says Tim O’Shea: “We have on a regular basis a requirement to fold section work in quantities of up to 500k, and to perform this operation effectively you need a folder that provides reliable and consistent performance.
“We have over many years found that MBO equipment more than satisfies these requirements, and trust that the new K70 folder will continue this trend.”
